    To assist unemployed people identify skills to find their next job, start a business, or research training that will lead to rewarding employment. The Resource Centers are places where individuals discover how to connect to opportunities. People of all ages find new strategies for their job search and discuss their work options on a one-to-one basis or through workshops.

    If you need to write a resume and cover letter or identify the next steps in your career search, you can use the resources at the Global Resource Centers to target your career search. Visitors to the Global Resource Centers have commented that the atmosphere is always positive, friendly and respectful.

    The Resource Centers offer the following services at no cost:
  • Workshops
  • Local Current Job Postings
  • Labour Market Information
  • Lending library with over 1200 titles on job search, career development and small business
  • Self-Assessments for personality type, career direction and skills
  • Access to 21 computers with high-speed internet access
  • Fax, Telephone and Photocopying services for job search

  • Resource Centre staff provide the following:

  • Employment Counselling on:

    3. planning strategies
    4. life-long learning
    5. self-assessment review
